The CB&T Story

          Citizens Bank & Trust(The Citizens National Bank) was the fulfillment of a dream for 25 investors who, in 1889 put together $50,000 to start a bank in Chillicothe, Missouri. Over one hundred and twenty four years later Citizens Bank & Trust still stands strong in 15 different communities serving Northern Missouri, Kansas City Metro and St. Louis.

          Citizens Bank & Trust added Full Trust powers in 1963 and became the first bank in Livingston County to have a trust department.

         The astute banking and investing principles used at CB&T have gained attention from nationally-known periodicals as Forbes, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal and various banking publications and area newspapers.
