Bebe Rexha Hit in Face by Thrown Phone

At a local performance in New York City on Sunday night, pop artist Bebe Rexha was struck in the face and hurt by a cellphone thrown from the crowd.

She sung "I'm good, yeah, I'm feelin' alright" in a TikTok video, quoting from her most recent collaboration with DJ David Guetta, "I'm Good (Blue)."

Rexha, 33, was performing on stage at Manhattan's Pier 17, a rooftop club, when the phone was hurled, according to the police.

A video that was shared on social media showed the artist's head being hit by the phone before Rexha grabbed her face and fell to her knees.

After being arraigned on accusations of assault, aggravated harassment, and other offenses on Monday, Nicolas Malvagna, 27, of New Jersey, was freed without posting bond. A violation or a misdemeanor applies to each.
