The director of John Wick: Chapter 4, Chad Stahelski, has provided an encouraging update on the progress of his upcoming adaptation of the critically acclaimed video game Ghost of Tsushima.

In a recent interview with, Ghost of Tsushima director Chad Stahelski revealed that the project is currently in the "heavy development"

Stahelski is fully aware of the difficulty that comes with attempting to condense the world of video games into a span of a few hours on the big screen.

This is something that many (many) people have attempted in the past but have been unsuccessful at doing successfully.

However, it seems that Stahelski is prepared to take on the challenge that has been presented to him.

The prospect of adapting Ghost of Tsushima is bolstered for Chad Stahelski by the success of The Last of Us.

In 2020's Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch Productions' samurai Jin Sakai defends the island from the first Mongol invasion. Players can defend the island honorably or dishonorably.
