Godfather: Second Chances Francis Ford Coppola's Direct Reaction

Francis Ford Coppola, who is in charge of The Godfather Part 4's production, answers directly when asked about its likelihood of happening.

The Godfather, directed by Francis Ford Coppola and released in 1972,

overcame significant production challenges to become one of the first major Hollywood successes,

grossing $250–291 million globally and earning 11 Oscar nominations.

Just two years after that enormous success, director Coppola released The Godfather Part II,

which is now regarded as a classic. The Godfather Part III, which concludes the Corleone Family saga,

was released in 1990, but it is not generally regarded as a classic.

Coppola did have a second chance to fix the problems with the third Godfather, though,
