Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not invited to King Charles' Trooping the Colour.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be absent from Saturday's major royal celebration.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not invited to Trooping the Colour, the annual public commemoration of the birthday of the British monarch.

This year's celebration, which dates back to the 1600s, will be the first to take place during the reign of Harry's father, King Charles.

It was known as the Queen's Birthday Parade for the last 70 years, when Queen Elizabeth was on the throne.

The procession will feature hundreds of British Army troops, including Prince Harry, who is a decorated veteran

of two tours in Afghanistan during his decade-long military career. The Royal Air Force will also perform a unique flyover.

They're expecting to put on a thrilling show after being unable to perform their scheduled performance for the coronation in May owing to rain.

Buckingham Palace and the office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no comment.
