Steph Curry Wants Warriors Roster Next Season

Following the Golden State Warriors' second-round defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers, there has been much speculation regarding their future.

Golden State returned with a squad that was identical to that of 2022, but with some significant deficiencies.

These flaws, along with regression from key components of Golden State's 2022 run, resulted in the Warriors' first playoff series defeat before the NBA Finals under Steve Kerr.

As previously said, Golden State's early departure has created a lot of speculation regarding the team's future.

Should they return it? Should they retool or rebuild? According to a recent rumor, Steph Curry wants the Warriors to keep its current core together for at least one more season.

"I think the most likely scenario is that the Warriors keep most of this together for at least one more season," The Athletic's Tim Kawakami wrote recently. That is what Curry want. His opinion does important."

While Golden State's core will undoubtedly need improvements, it's understandable that Curry remains optimistic about what he, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson can do together next season. 

The Warriors will eventually need much more from their supporting cast throughout the next season, in addition to greater consistency from Thompson and Green;

but, this is still a trio that just won their fourth championship in eight seasons, and they are eager for at least one more.
