In Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One, Tom Cruise returns triumphantly as Ethan Hunt. We caught up with the action blockbuster's actors at the London premiere in Leicester
Square ahead of the film's UK release, and it got off to an explosive start. Gunpowder lined the red carpet, kicking off the premiere with a single fuse that culminated in a bang,
giving fans a taste of what's to come. After speaking with every fan, some of whom had traveled thousands of miles to see him, Tom joined HELLO! for an exclusive interview,
where he reflected on his fondest experiences from the franchise. "I have so many that it's difficult," he explained to HELLO! "This is the first film I ever produced [the first Mission: Impossible] in 1996."
So it's incredibly special to be here doing this decades later, you know, to be here in Leicester Square doing this premiere.
And also with them - knowing how hard this cast worked...we're very happy to be able to share it with audiences." In 2020, word got out of Tom's record-breaking escapade,
which is featured in the sequel. The "biggest stunt in cinema history" sees the actor ride a motorcycle off a cliff in Norway before flying into a base jump.
Naturally, the 60-year-old was questioned about the stunt repeatedly, and his response may surprise fans. "The thing is, I don't, it's not that I don't get scared," he told outlets. "I don't mind being scared."
